Editor's Description
XIME hosts solo exhibition by artist Jaime Ekkens. Two drawing series " Street Food Portraits " & "Almost Empty Spaces" completed by the artist during the Corona Virus outbreak are shown in this exhibition. Words from the artist : Producing this art helped me keep my sanity while stuck inside during a very difficult time. The images take on a heightened significance due to their time during the quarantine period with me. It is almost as if I was trying to recapture and bring to life better moments in the past through the paper and paint. Free.
